Am I crazy for wanting this? A few years back, I found one of these in this condition for $16,000. It’s now going for $41,000 on eBay.
Based on true events, The Ouija Experiment, a film by Israel Luna, is the story of five friends who decide to videotape their experimental sessions with a Ouija board in hopes of creating a “sure-to-make-them-famous” viral video. Caught up in their personal drama, the group loses sight of the all-important rules of the game and soon fall prey to the evil entities that occupy the board.
The Ouija Experiment was shot in Dallas, TX in the summer of 2011 in 9 days. It was shot with a $1,000 budget. Israel Luna is doing an unusual four wall distibution of this film (without help from a studio or distributor).
I bought a couple of previously owned Swatches on eBay for $20. Score! The yellow one I’ve had for years now.
I’m backing another project on Kickstarter. This one involves a farm in Newport, PA. They currently raise pigs naturally (outdoors, eating organic pasture and grains, feeling sun and rain and even snow, clean water, plenty of space). With the pigs, they make European cured meats in the way people did before refrigeration was available using salt (lower energy use). They’re currently making the cured meats by renting a facility off-farm.
They need Kickstarter to help raise enough money to completing a small sausage and salume shop on their farm, and building an earth-banked aging room. Read more about it on their Kickstarter page.

The 50-Dollar Follow Focus is the latest Kickstarter project that I am backing. It’s a low priced, high-quality aircraft aluminum made follow focus (perfect for ultra-low budget DSLR film shoots).
It’s already fully funded, but you can still back the project if you want one.
What is a follow focus?
